The Lafayette Sports Network was created in 1997 as the primary marketing and promotional arm for Lafayette College Athletics. While the main emphasis lies with television production and distribution, the Lafayette Sports Network also encompasses all of the high-end stadium and arena signage, game programs, hospitality areas, and game-day promotional events.

Award-Winning Distribution
Regionally, Lafayette Sports Network telecasts are aired to more than 9.1 million viewers in Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey, and more than 90 million viewers nationally via DIRECTV and DISH Network. In fact, Broadcast & Cable Magazine has recognized the Lafayette Sports Network as one of the best college- or university-owned networks nationally.

The telecasts are picked up live on RCN's series of cable systems throughout the Northeast (NYC, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, DC), as well as WBPH-TV 60, an independent station servicing all of Eastern Pennsylvania - including Philadelphia - and Western New Jersey.

Nationally, the Lafayette Sports Network sets the standard for institutionally-run television networks in terms of distribution via DirecTV and DISH Network outlets. LSN has partnerships with CBS College Sports, Fox Sports Net-Pittsburgh, Mid Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) and SportsNet NY and has worked directly with DISH Network on pay-per-view telecasts.

All Lafayette Sports Network telecasts are available live world-wide via live video streaming through LSN All-Access, featuring live and archived broadcasts.

Best in the League
For the 13th straight year, the Lafayette Sports Network will lead the Patriot League in television coverage. In fact, the Lafayette Sports Network is unrivaled in the nation for a school of Lafayette's size with more than 35 live television broadcasts scheduled for the 2009-10 seasons.

Now Featuring Radio Coverage
Starting with the 2007 Lafayette football season, the Lafayette Sports Network incorporated Lafayette's radio coverage. The Leopards are proud to be on the top two rated AM stations in the Lehigh Valley - WAEB-AM 790 and WGPA-AM 1100 - as well as WSAN-AM 1470, the region's Fox Sports Radio affiliate.
