Eighteen teams and 78 percent of Lafayette's 23 Division I sports have earned NCAA Public Recognition Awards, the third highest percentage of all NCAA Division I schools topping the Academic Progress Rate (APR).

Senior Cory Spera, a senior relief pitcher on the Lafayette baseball team, has been selected as the George Wharton Pepper Prize winner.

Lafayette College hosted its annual All-College Honors Convocation on May 3, recognizing the top students in each discipline. Twelve student-athletes were honored during the event for their work in the classroom.

Lafayette men's basketball head coach Fran O'Hanlon was honored with the Maroon Club Athletic Staff Achievement Award over the weekend at the College's annual pre-commencement awards dinner.
