Ten of Lafayette's women's basketball games will be televised during the 2011-12 season, with the possibility of more telecasts being added during the Patriot League Tournament in March.
All 10 telecasts will be produced by the Lafayette Sports Network (LSN), which annually produces the most expansive and highest quality television package in the Patriot League. Each of those broadcasts will air live regionally to more than 10 million viewers on RCN-4 (Lehigh Valley), RCN-8 (Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, Washington, D.C. and Chicago) and WBPH-60 (eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey).
With the exception of the Patriot League Championship, which will be nationally-televised live on CBS Sports Network, Lafayette's games during the 2012 Patriot League Tournament will also be broadcast on the Lafayette Sports Network.
As an element of Lafayette's long-term multi-media agreement with CBS Interactive, all LSN telecasts are streamed live on the internet and available worldwide through GoLeopards.com. Lafayette was the first of the CBS Interactive partners to make live video streaming available to fans everywhere when the 2000 Lafayette-Lehigh football game aired live on GoLeopards.com. Four additional Lafayette contests will be broadcast exclusively on LSN All-Access.
Emmy-nominated local sports broadcaster Gary Laubach and former Lafayette men's basketball coach John Leone will be on the call for the Lafayette Sports Network for the 15th season.
