Lafayette Women's Lacrosse Earns Academic Squad Honors

EASTON, Pa.- The Lafayette women's lacrosse team has been selected as one of the Academic Squads for the 2012 season, as chosen by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
To be eligible for this honor, the team had to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the spring semester.
The team placed a league-best 21 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2012, which requires a 3.2 GPA or higher, led by sophomore Katie Elander, who owns a 3.81 GPA as an Art major.
In addition to Lafayette, three other Patriot League schools achieved Academic Squad honors including American, Holy Cross and Lehigh.
