White Selected to IWLCA All-Region Squad

EASTON, Pa. – Junior midfielder Ana White of the Lafayette women’s lacrosse team was named to the IWLCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team, the IWLCA announced recently.

White was named the Patriot League Midfield Player of the Year after leading the league in ground balls (47) and caused turnovers (34). White was second in the league standings in draw controls (95) and sat in the top five in goals (46), assists (22) and points (68).

The Swarthmore, Pa. native was named to the Patriot League All-Tournament team after tallying two goals, two assists, four draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers in the 9-8 loss to Navy in the Patriot League semifinal game.

White is now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-America Teams, which will be announced on May 17. She joins Navy’s Jasmine DePompeo and Loren Generi as Patriot League representatives on the squad.
