The Lafayette women's lacrosse team came out strong, holding an 8-5 lead into the halftime break, but gave up nine of 12 second-half markers to fall on the road at Boston U. on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 14-11.

The Leopards return to Patriot League play on Saturday afternoon, traveling to Boston U. for a 1 p.m. contest. Lafayette enters the contest 2-9 overall and 1-3 in conference action, while the Terriers are 4-5 so far this season and 2-1 in Patriot League play.

In a game that never featured a scoring difference of more than two goals either way, the Lafayette women's lacrosse team was outlasted in the end at Villanova on Wednesday evening by a 13-11 margin.

The Lafayette women's lacrosse team jumped out to an 8-2 edge into the halftime break and worked its cushion to the final buzzer for its first Patriot League win of the year over Holy Cross on Sunday afternoon at Fisher Stadium.

Lafayette Hosts Holy Cross for Sunday Matinee

The Leopards continue Patriot League play on Sunday afternoon, hosting Holy Cross at Fisher Stadium. Lafayette enters the contest 1-8 overall, while the Crusaders are 2-7 so far this season, but have picked up both victories in conference action.
