EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette men’s lacrosse junior goalkeeper Jake Hyatt earned Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week honors, the League announced Monday. Hyatt put together a pair of 16-save performances in a 1-1 week.

Hyatt faced 39 shots and allowed just nine goals in a 13-9 win over Wagner on Feb. 26 and followed that up with another stellar performance in an 8-5 loss to Marist, allowing those eight goals on 41 shots faced.

The Ridgefield, Conn. native leads the Patriot League in saves per game with 13.8 and is second in save percentage (.580). Hyatt has tallied double-digit saves in all five games for the Leopards this season.

Lafayette is back in action tomorrow afternoon as part of a lacrosse doubleheader at Fisher Stadium. The men’s team will match up with Delaware at 4 p.m., followed by the women taking on Monmouth at 7 p.m.
