Massie Leads Leopards with Top-10 Finish

Lafayette's golf team finished 13th place in the 2014 FDU Invitational led by junior Kirk Massie's top-10 finish with a seven-over 78 in the final round on the 6,734-yard, par-71 Crystal Springs Golf Club in Hamburg, N.J. Massie finished the tournament at 13-over 155 (77-78).
Binghamton won the team title by six strokes over host Fairleigh Dickinson, recording a 612 to FDU's 618. Central Connecticut finished third at 625 while Towson was fourth at 626 and Saint Peter's rounded out the top five at 631.
Central Connecticut's Matt DeJohn took the individual title with a 71 in the final round for a two-day total of four-over 146.
