Leopard Hoops Places Three on PL Academic Honor Roll

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette men's basketball program placed three student-athletes on the Patriot League Men's Basketball Academic Honor Roll announced Tuesday.
Junior Economics major Dan Trist led the way for the Leopards with a 3.50 GPA. Trist averaged 12.8 points and 5.4 rebounds for the Leopards in 2013-14. Fellow junior Seth Hinrichs also earned a spot, achieving a 3.35 GPA in the classroom while leading the team in scoring (16.4 ppg) and rebounding (6.0 rpg). Hinrichs was one of Lafayette's two Academic All-Patriot League selections in March.
Also an Economics major, sophomore Billy Murphy registered a 3.57 GPA in the spring semester to secure his spot.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor roll, student-athletes must earn a 3.20 GPA in the spring semester.
