Malik Wagner was hired in the summer of 2023 as Lafayette men's soccer's Director of Operations.
In his role, Wagner is responsible for day-to-day operations, travel logistics and promotional strategy.
The 2025 campaign brought silverware back to College Hill for the first time since 2012. The Maroon and White entered the tournament as the No. 6 seed and claimed their eighth conference title, which is tied for the most in Patriot League history. In improbable fashion, Lafayette downed No. 3 Army, No. 1 American and No. 2 Lehigh to reclaim glory. The conference tournament championship was won on penalty kicks in Bethlehem against archrival Lehigh.
During Wagner’s first season in Easton, the Leopards advanced to the Patriot League Championship after knocking off No. 6 American and No. 2 Loyola Md. in the first and semifinal rounds. The run came to an end in a 1-0 loss at No. 1 Boston U.
Wagner graduated from the California University of Pennsylvania in 2021 where he obtained his master's degree.
He currently resides in Easton, Pa.
