What have you learned as a member of the Lafayette volleyball team?
I have learned so much in my four years playing and I am really grateful for my experience. I've definitely improved my time management skills and have loved working as one unit focused on one goal. I've learned to be flexible and adaptable in different moments of adversity. We could be ready for a 10 PM text for a 7 AM run test. I've loved being pushed on and off the court in my four years with this program and have learned a lot about myself while also having fun along the way.
Can you share one of your favorite career highlights on the court?
One of my favorite memories, that we talk about often, was the Penn tournament my junior year. It was actually over one hundred degrees in the gym and it was an ice skating rinkk with the amount of sweat. We played so well against really tough competition and it’s definitely a tournament I will always remember.
What will you miss most about Lafayette Volleyball and being a collegiate athlete?
I am really going to miss getting to see my teammates every day and getting to play the sport I love with some of my best friends. I am also really going to miss all of our competitive practices and lifting with Dave!
What was your favorite academic experience at Lafayette - class, trip, professor, study abroad, etc?
My favorite academic experience was getting to go to China with one of my teammates my sophomore year. We had so much fun and learned a lot!
What was your favorite gym to play in over your four years and why?
My favorite gym to play in was definitely Navy. I loved playing right on the water and how loud it got within such a big gym.
What are your plans after graduation?
I've loved my 4 years here so much that I am planning to stay on the east coast!
