Leopards Head to St. Francis for Non-Conference Volleyball Match
Oct. 3, 2007
EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's volleyball team (8-10, 1-2) will travel to St. Francis (N.Y.) on Wednesday night for a non-conference match. With a win over the Terriers, the Leopards would extend their win streak to three matches, dating back to a 3-0 win over Delaware State on Sept. 26. Lafayette was most recently in action when the team hosted Patriot League rival Lehigh on Friday night. The Leopards recorded a convincing 3-0 win over the Mountain Hawks for their first Patriot League win of the season. Senior Michaela Donohue had a double-double against Lehigh with 14 kills and a team-best 10 digs. Freshmen Katrina Racibarskas and Kayly Elmer both finished with double-digits in kills with 14 and 11, respectively. For her efforts, Racibarskas earned her third Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors. This season, she leads the Leopards with a 3.19 kills per game average, an average that also leads all Patriot League freshmen. Her three weekly accolades are the most for a single player under sixth-year head coach Terri Dadio Campbell. Following Wednesday's match, the Leopards return home to host two Patriot League opponents. They will face Army on Friday at 7 p.m. and Holy Cross on Saturday at 2 p.m.
