EASTON, Pa. - A league-best 12 members of the Lafayette volleyball team have been recognized as members of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. All four academic classes and nine different majors are represented on the Leopards' roster of honorees.

With 12 honorees, the Leopards lead the league in Honor Roll distinctions. Lehigh landed nine student-athletes of the list, while American, Bucknell and Colgate placed eight apiece. Army and Navy were represented by five student-athletes, and Holy Cross rounded out the list with four honorees.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher in the fall semester and participate in one the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.

Freshman Michelle Woodworth, an Economics major, led all Lafayette players with a 3.75 GPA during her first semester on College Hill. Collectively, the volleyball squad posted a 3.27 GPA in the fall semester.

Molly Belcher, Andrea Duvall, Sarah Frohnapfel, Gina Morrone and Alana Taylor are all two-time Academic Honor Roll qualifiers, while the other seven Leopards are appearing for the first time in their careers.
