WEST POINT, N.Y. -One night after gaining its first league win, Lafayette fell to Army in straight sets on Saturday evening.

The Leopards lost 14-25 in both the first and second sets, tallying only 10 kills. Senior Kaitlynn Zoller provided some consistency for Lafayette. She had seven kills, one ace, seven digs, and one block assist throughout the match.

Lafayette made it a game in the final set before being edged 25-23. The team registered more kills in the third match - 11 - than the first two combined. The score was tied nine times and there were three lead changes as well.

Freshman Brianne Giangiobbe tallied seven kills and two digs while senior Sarah Frohnapfel registered 17 assists and six digs in the loss.

Lafayette continues its four-game road trip on Friday Oct. 19 at Colgate at 7 p.m.
