Joel  Hindelang

Joel Hindelang will begin his fifth season as an assistant coach with the Lafayette volleyball program in 2015. Hindelang's main responsibilities include on-court coaching, statistical analysis, scouting and recruiting.

A 2012 graduate of Lafayette College, the Easton native majored in Engineering Studies with a focus in Construction Management. While at Lafayette, Hindelang served as a student assistant during his senior year and was a 4 year starter for Lafayette's men's club volleyball team. He has also coached girls' club volleyball for Synergy Volleyball Club out of the Lehigh Valley.

Hindelang works full-time as a construction project manager with Blue Rock Construction in Allentown, PA. The Hindelang coaching name is well-known at Lafayette, as Joel's father Joe Hindelang was the Leopard's head baseball coach and assistant basketball coach from 1982 to 1991. Joe Hindelang went on to coach Penn State's baseball program until his retirement in 2004 after 27 years of collegiate coaching.
