Tennis Places Eight on Academic Honor Roll

EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette women’s tennis team placed eight members on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Sophomore Ally Simels led the Leopards with a 4.0 GPA, while seniors Lucy Bass and Liza Blank earned a spot for the fourth time.

To be eligible for the spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.

Blank held the second highest GPA on the team, a 3.90 in Psychology and Spanish , during the spring semester, followed by Amanda Kusnierz, a Government and Law major, with a 3.58 GPA. Freshman Lauren Tracy posted a 3.50 GPA in Economics, while classmate Tori Almeida and sophomore Caroline Nixon each earned a 3.43. Rounding out the members of the team on the honor roll are Bass (3.33) and Catherine Senopoulos.
