Four Leopards Honored with LVAIAW Awards
EASTON, Pa. – Four Lafayette student-athletes earned Lehigh Valley Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (LVAIAW) outstanding athlete awards this past week, the organization plans to announce at a banquet on Lafayette’s campus on Tuesday.
Field hockey senior Amanda Magadan was the school’s overall outstanding athlete, as well as the top field hockey player among the seven member institutions. Senior Kirsten Wilhelmsen was the top women’s lacrosse player, while senior Drew Davis and freshman Grace Conrad were honored for track and field and women’s tennis.
The LVAIAW was formed in the spirit of collegiality among schools in the Lehigh Valley area for the purpose of promoting women’s sports and recognizing outstanding women athletes at the respective schools. For more information on LVAIAW, click here.
