BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lafayette women's tennis team closed out its fall schedule on Saturday at the Lehigh Invitational. The Leopards went head-to-head against players from Loyola (Md.) and the host Mountain Hawks.

Katherine Charchalis and Jordyn Spellberg both tallied victories on the weekend. Charchalis topped Loyola's Olivia Ott (6-3, 6-2) while Spellberg notched a straight-set win over the Greyhounds' Sabrina Fedele (7-6 (5), 6-4). There was no team scoring at the event.

The Leopards' spring season begins at home on Feb. 25, 2012 with a visit from Fairfield. The Leopards went 2-0 in dual matches this fall, having defeated both Moravian and Wagner.
