Women's Tennis Shuts Down Towson

EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette won all seven matches in its 7-0 victory over Towson on Wednesday afternoon at Sullivan Courts. The match was shortened due to time constraints. Chez Saricas improved to 3-0 on the season and won her first match at the No. 1 singles spot for the Leopards with a 6-0, 7-5 score. Monika Serrano, Lily Fardshisheh and Susan King also earned their third wins in as many attempts, while Shannon Rowe and Jessica Abel added singles victories. The doubles tandem of Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung and Katie Gibbons posted an 8-0 score at No. 1 doubles in the only doubles match of the afternoon. Lafayette (3-0) travels to Villanova on Sept. 26 for a 3 p.m. match. Results:
