Colgate Eliminates Women's Tennis in Patriot League Quarterfinal Action

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The No. 6 seed Lafayette women's tennis team had its 2011-12 season come to an end against Colgate in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament. The third-seeded Raiders took the match by a score of 4-0. The Leopards conclude their campaign at 5-11 in dual matches. As the winner would advance and play again the following, several individual matches were not completed once the outcome of the team competition was decided. Most notably, Amanda Kusnierz led at No. 3 singles - 7-5, 2-1 - when Colgate clinched the victory.
