Women's Tennis Tops Holy Cross in League Weekend at West Point

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Lafayette women's tennis team knocked off Holy Cross, 5-2, on Saturday to cap a weekend of Patriot League action at Army. The Leopards were swept by the seven-time defending champion Black Knights on Friday. The Leopards now stand at 5-8 in dual matches and 1-3 in Patriot League play. Jordan Spellberg, Amanda Kusnierz, Lucy Bass and Liza Blank each won singles matches against the Crusaders. The pairs of Spellberg and Caitlin Gordon, Bass and Blank and Kusnierz and Katherine Charchalis were all victorious to guide the Leopards to a sweep of the doubles point. Patriot League play continues on Sunday afternoon in Easton against Bucknell. Results
