EASTON, Pa. - Two league opponents got the better of the Lafayette women's tennis team this weekend. The Leopards were edged 4-3 by Colgate on Saturday and were shut out 7-0 by Bucknell in Lewisburg, Pa., on Sunday.

Allie Seranko and Caitlin Gordon won the first doubles match, 8-6, but the rest of the Leopards could not follow suit and Colgate earned the doubles point.

Sarah Sykes put Lafayette on the board with 6-4, 7-5 sets over Erin Fenn in No. 3 singles.

Rachel Rohinsky regrouped to pull off 7-5, 6-1 wins in No. 4 singles after her 6-2 loss to Cameron Williams in the first set. In the No. 5 singles, Gordon continued to roll with her second victory of the day, winning her sets 7-5, 6-4.

Emily DeLuca pushed Jackie Stimmel to three sets with a 6-4 victory in the second, but her rally fell short in the No. 6 singles.

Bucknell swept Lafayette on Sunday, winning six of its 12 singles sets in 6-0 decisions. DeLuca put together the Leopards' best performance of the day, losing both of her sets, 6-3.

The Leopards (5-9) return to College Hill for consecutive home contests to finish out the season. Lafayette faces Lehigh on Tuesday at 3 p.m. and West Chester on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
