Women's Tennis Bested by Saint Joseph's

EASTON, Pa. - Amanda Kusnierz won her match at No. 3 singles, but the Lafayette women's tennis team was downed by Saint Joseph's on Tuesday at Sullivan Courts, 6-1. The Leopards now stand at 4-7 in dual matches. Kusnierz took her singles match in straight sets - 6-1, 6-2, while Lauren Gibbons battled to a three-set defeat - 6-4, 3-6, (10-7) - at No. 5 singles. The duo of Lucy Bass and Liza Blank was victorious at No. 3 doubles, though the Hawks claimed the doubles point. Patriot League play resumes this weekend with matches against Army and Holy Cross at West Point. Results
