Lafayette Women's Tennis Drops 4-3 Decision to Lehigh

EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lehigh edged Lafayette, 4-3, in Patriot League women's tennis action on Wednesday afternoon at Sullivan Courts. Lily Fardshisheh defeated Jamie Fass, 7-6 (3) and 6-3 at No. 2 singles for the Leopards, while Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung blanked Kristin Mulstay, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5. Ali Kelley also won in straight sets over Alina Kors, 6-2, 6-2 at six singles. Chez Saricas had an injury forfeit at No. 1 singles for Lafayette. In doubles, Fung-Kee-Fung teamed with Stephanie Rosman for an 8-6 decision in the third spot, but Lafayette fell 8-6 at No. 1 and 8-5 at No. 2 to lose the doubles point. Lafayette (9-3, 0-3) returns to action on Monday when St. Peter's visits Sullivan Courts at 3 p.m. in a match rescheduled from last week.
