Women's Tennis Posts 5-2 Win at Rider

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's tennis team improved to 8-5 overall with a 5-2 win at Rider on Friday.
The Leopards opened the match by sweeping all three doubles pairings. Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung and Lauren Clarke were 8-5 winners at No. 1 doubles, while Stephanie Rosman and Danielle Bailey claimed the third doubles flight by the same score. Chez Saricas and Jacqui Bonder were 8-4 winners at No. 2 doubles.
Rosman put together the most convincing singles win, claiming a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 5 singles. Bailey was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at the sixth singles position.
Lafayette is back in action on Sunday, visiting Mount St. Mary's at 1 p.m.
