Leopards Falter Against Towson

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's tennis team fell 4-0 to visiting Towson on Friday afternoon and are now 0-2 this season.

Sophomore Amanda Kusnierz and junior Lucy Bass lost their singles matches at No. 3 and No. 4, 6-0, 6-0. Junior Liza Blank dropped the No. 5 singles match, 6-1, 6-2. Sophomore Jordyn first set before the match was called short.

In doubles, Blank and Senopoulos and Bass and sophomore Lauren Gibbons were both downed 8-1, while freshman Caroline Nixon Kusnierz were leading 5-2 before the match ended.

The Leopards return to the court on March 2 when they host Wagner at 2:30 p.m.
