Women’s Tennis Drops 6-1 Match to Marist

EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette women’s tennis team battled Marist at Northwood Racquet Club on Saturday afternoon, falling by a 6-1 score.

Freshman Cecelia Lesnick was the lone Leopards to earn a point on the day, winning her first singles match by a 6-2, 7-5 score. Lesnick and classmate Samantha Snyder also won their top doubles match, 6-3, but the Red Foxes took the rest for the 6-1 victory.

Below are the full results from Saturday’s match. The Leopards return to action on Sunday morning, traveling to Brooklyn, N.Y. for a meeting with St. Francis at 9 a.m.
