NEWARK, Del. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette freshman diver Alana Anzalone (Shavertown, Pa./Wyoming Seminary) recorded a score of 204.5 in the one-meter dive competition of the Delaware Diving Invitational Saturday, earning herself a second place finish in the event.
Amber Funk, of Rowan, came in first place in the event with a score of 207.1.
Anzalone also placed sixth in the three-meter diving event with a score of 160.8, one place behind junior teammate Claire Kesicke (North Salem, N.Y./John Jay) who scored 163.7 in the event. Kesicke placed seventh in the one-meter event as well.
Funk also won the three-meter event, sweeping the tournament's first place honors, with a score of 213.4.
Delaware, Rowan, West Chester and Lafayette took part in the meet.
