ANNAPOLIS, Md. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette men's and women's swimming and diving team wrapped up competition at the Patriot League Championships on Saturday in Annapolis, Md.

Freshman Jakub Pritz paced the men's team with a fourth place finish in the 100-yd free (45.98) to cap off a weekend that included a school record-breaking time in the 50-yd free and a fourth place finish in the 200-yd free event.

Sophomore Stephen Berkowitz captured a fourth place spot in the 200-yd fly event with a time of 1:54.81. Berkowitz finished the weekend with three top-ten finishes including a school record-breaking time in the 400-yd IM (4:08.89).

Diver Justin Gaudreau took home sixth place in the one-meter competition (210.40) while sophomore Kristopher Klein swam to an eighth place finish in the 200-yd backstroke event.

The men's 400-yd free relay team of Dan Sherry, Janis Eisl, Stephen Connlain and Pritz picked up a fifth place finish with a time of 3:09.40.

On the women's side, divers Chrissy MacDonald and Alana Anzalone finished seventh (365.35) and eighth (358.55) in the three-meter event. MacDonald set a new school record in the event, breaking Anzalone's record from last season.

Co-captain Nancy Haystrand picked up a 10th place finish in the 200-yd fly event (2:11.18).

The women's 400-yd free relay team of Katie Duffy, Erika Hoke, Jenny Moerschbacher and Erin Rosensteel swam to a seventh place finish (3:40.80) in the event.
