BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's swimming and diving team ended its regular season with a close 124-116 non-conference loss at Binghamton on Saturday. The Leopards fall to 2-7 overall and carry a league mark of 0-3 into the league championships on Feb. 15-17.

Freshman and ECAC Diver of the Week honoree Alana Anzalone continued to impress this season, sweeping the one- and three-meter diving events. Classmate Carrie Abildgaard won the 1000-yard freestyle and Nancy Haystrand took the 200-yard butterfly for the Leopards. Haystrand placed behind Abildgaard in the 1000 free and Abildgaard placed second in the 200-yard backstroke.

Binghamton improved to 6-5 on the season.

The Patriot League Championships will be hosted by Colgate on Feb. 15-17.
