EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette women's swimming and diving team lost to Patriot League opponent Bucknell, 175-117, Saturday at Ruef Natatorium. Freshman diver Alana Anzalone (Shavertown, Pa./Wyoming Seminary) won both the three- and one-meter diving competitions for Lafayette (2-5, 0-2).
Freshman Liz Tutschek (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes) earned an individual first-place finish, winning the 100-fly with a time of 1:03.93. Also winning an event for the Leopards was sophomore Brenda Thayer (Wilmington, Del./Archmere Academy), who swam the 200-individual medley in 2:16.02.
Bucknell improves to 5-4, 1-1 Patriot League on the season.
Lafayette remains at home to take on Patriot League foe Colgate on Wednesday.
