Patriot League Selects 13 for Academic Honor Roll

EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette softball placed 13 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll that was announced Thursday afternoon.

Recent graduate Candace Fields led the way with a 4.0 semester GPA while earning her major in Neuroscience. Fellow graduating seniors Kristyn Marinelli (3.90) and Jenna Orlando (3.93) and junior Miranda Skurla (3.93) all achieved a 3.90 GPA or better.

To be selected to the Winter/Spring Honor Roll, each student-athlete must achieve a 3.20 GPA or higher for the spring semester while participating in one of the league’s winter or spring championship sports. Thirteen of Lafayette's 17 student-athletes on the 2017 roster earned spots on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
