EASTON, Pa. - Eight Lafayette softball players have secured their places on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll which recognizes student-athletes who earned a minimum 3.2 semester GPA in their championship season.
May graduate Amy Gebhardt led the way for the Leopards, achieving a 3.90 GPA while major in Biology. It was the third best mark of any Patriot League softball player in the spring semester. Outfielder Kelly Lallis was the lone junior honored while Bryn Gornick, Alex Jacinto and Stephanie Schreiber represented the sophomore class. Gornick was previously honored with a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League Team announced in May. Freshmen Candace Fields, Kristyn Marinelli and Jenna Orlando also achieved the honor.
