EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Snow accumulation overnight and into the morning forced the Lafayette softball team to postpone its doubleheader against Drexel scheduled for Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Lafayette head coach Jeanine Gunther is in the process of rescheduling the non-league contest for a date to be determined.

The mid-week contest was to serve as a final tune-up before the Leopards head to Worcester, Mass. for their second Patriot League weekend at Holy Cross. The four-game series is set to begin on Saturday at noon at Freshman Field.

Lafayette (8-17) and Drexel (9-17) met at the Bash at the Beach Tournament on March 19. Lafayette came away with a 3-1 truimph.
