2017: Played in 39 games with 36 starts, splitting time between catcher and designated hitter...hit for a .290 average (second best on the team) with one home run, seven doubles and 11 RBI...had five multi-hit games and eight games with extra-base hits...stole three bases...threw out nine potential base stealers...doubled in a pair of runners to give Lafayette the lead for good in a 5-4 win over St. Peter's (3/28)...ripped a solo home run in a 4-3 win over Rider (4/30) of 13 Lafayette softball student-athletes named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2016: Played in 44 games with 42 starts in her rookie season, spending time at catcher and DH...hit for a .227 average with a double, a triple and two home runs...had five multi-hit games...was efficient at throwing from behind the plate, cutting down 10 would-be base stealers, the fifth-best mark in a season at Lafayette...drove in three runs on two hits, including a two-run homer in a 10-3 win over Delaware State (2/20)...added a solo home runs against Wagner (3/19)...went 3-for-4 with two RBI in game one at Howard and scored three runs in a 10-6 win the night cap (3/22)...plated three runs in a 10-5 win over Rider (4/17) of 16 Lafayette softball players to earn a place on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Four-year starter who finished her career with a .720 cumulative batting average and a .946 on-base percentage while leading her team to a pair of section championships...captured all-section and all-state honors at Norwin High School in western Pennsylvania...played travel ball with Team Pennsylvania and was a USSSA national champion and offensive MVP while also garnering USSSA All-World Team laurels...National Honor Society member with a 4.3 weighted GPA...earned the President Award of Academic Excellence, the Academic Citizenship Award, Norwin, "Noble Knight" Award and was a Tribune Total Media Outstanding Citizen Award...served as the vice president of the Norwin Letterwinners Club and Spanish Club...worked as a peer mentor and was a member of the Norwin Quiz Team, S.A.D.D. and F.C.C.L.A.

Personal: Daughter of Daniel and Holly Wensel...has younger sisters, Mackenzie, Mallory and Macy...grandfather, Frank Avolio, played football at Nebraska...plans to major in Biology...born May 18, 1997.
