Lafayette Softball Adds Three to the Class of 2017

Leopards add an infielder, outfielder and pitcher to their roster

Brittany Spencer recently completed her first season as assistant coach and pitching coach at Lafayette. She served as the interim head coach from April 8, 2013 until the hiring of Jexx Varner on June 3, 2013.

Spencer played her collegiate softball at Longwood University in Farmville, Va. were she was a starting pitcher and also saw time at first base.

Prior to coming to Lafayette, she served as the pitching coach at First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach, Va.

Spencer, a Virginia Beach native, graduated from Longwood University in 2010 with a degree in Criminal Justice.
