Lafayette used a walk-off single in game one to secure a 3-2 win and was one out away from the doubleheader sweep of Villanova before a seventh-inning grand slam halved the day with an 8-4 final.

The four runs Boston scored in the first inning proved to be enough as the Terriers closed out the series with a 10-2 win over Lafayette on Sunday at Metzgar Fields.

Lafayette's seventh inning rally fell a run short as Boston was able to hold on for a 3-2 decision in game two of a Saturday doubleheader. The Terriers topped the Leopards 12-2 in the series opener.

Lafayette plays its final Patriot League home series of 2015, welcoming Boston U. for a three-game stint on Saturday and Sunday.

Lafayette managed to out-hit Bucknell, 7-5, but those hits were scattered and the Leopards were shut out 3-0 in the series finale on Wednesday at Becker Field.
