Women's Soccer Game Versus Wagner Pushed Back 24 Hours

EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette women's soccer match scheduled for Thursday against Wagner has been postponed to Friday night at 7 p.m. at Mike Bourger '44 Field at Oaks Stadium.
The Leopards will take the field looking to use the momentum of Sunday's 1-0 victory over Towson in the final game of the Holiday Inn Express Invitational at Stony Brook University. The game-winner came when junior Kelly Koreyva scored her second career goal in the 84th minute. Sunday's victory marked the first for the Leopards under the tutelage of first-year head coach Mick Statham. Junior goalkeeper recorded her first shutout of the year and fourth of her career to secure the win.
Lafayette's game at Mount St. Mary's has also been re-scheduled into the Leopards travel plans. The game is set for Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m. in Emmitsburg, Md.
Following Friday's make-up game against Wagner, the Leopards will finish their weekend homestand on Sunday afternoon when they host Iona at 1 p.m.
