Women's Soccer Lands 18 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

EASTON, Pa. - Eighteen student-athletes from the Lafayette women's soccer program have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, announced by the League on Thursday. The group represents all four classes and twelve different academic majors. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher in the fall semester and participate in one the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports. Led by Meredith McCann's 4.0 GPA as a Policy Studies and Economics and Business double major, seven seniors earned Academic Honor Roll status in the fall semester. Gina Milone (Biology) and Natalie Stone (English / Policy Studies) each had 3.93 GPAs for the team which recorded an overall GPA of 3.37. In addition to McCann, Milone and Stone, three other seniors completed their careers as four-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll honorees. Angela CampoBasso (Biochemistry, 3.83), Shannon Neschke (Policy Studies, 3.54) and Janelle Pierson (Economics and Business, 3.25) all accomplished the feat.
