Women’s Lax Earns Academic Honors from IWLCA

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association announced its academic honors on Wednesday afternoon, with the honorees including members of the Lafayette women’s lacrosse program.

The team as a whole was given Academic Honor Squad laurels for the 2016-17 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the team must have posted a 3.0 or higher grade-point average during the academic year.

Additionally, Amanda Case ’17 and rising senior Dana Smith were selected for the Academic Honor Roll. Student-athletes eligibility for this honor require junior, senior or graduate-student status, and they must be carrying a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or greater.
