Ana White Picks Up Third Consecutive Weekly Honor

White leads the nation in draw controls (107) and draw controls per game (6.69)

EASTON, Pa. - Leopard sophomore midfielder Ana White was named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week for the third consecutive week and fifth time this season.  The award is White's seventh weekly award of her career.

White tallied five goals with one assist, six groundballs, and 19 draw controls in two contests against Columbia (4/11) and Colgate (4/14).  She recorded 10 draw controls against Colgate, reaching double digits for the second time this season and fourth time in her career.

White leads the nation in draw controls and draw controls per game with 107 and 6.69, respectively.

Also getting in on the action was Addie Godfrey, who grabbed honorable mention honors for the third week in a row.  Godfrey tallied seven goals with two assists, three ground balls and eight draw controls for the week.  She recorded a career-high six draw controls and tied a season-high with three groundballs against Columbia.

Godfrey leads the Patriot League in scoring with 56 goals and is second in points with 64.

The Leopards will travel to Worcester, Mass. on Saturday to face Holy Cross at 7 p.m.  With a win, Lafayette will clinch its first Patriot League postseason berth since 2002.
