Lafayette plays host to the Bucknell Bison in Patriot League action. Bucknell comes in on a three-game win streak following an 8-7 win over Holy Cross on Saturday, while the Leopards are fresh off of their first Patriot League win of the season over American. Lafayette holds a 1-5 mark in Patriot League Play, while the Bison enter with a 2-4 League record.
Last Time Out
The Leopards brought home their first Patriot League win of the season when they took down American 15-13 in overtime on Saturday. Freshman Kirsten Wilhelmsen’s six goals, including the game-winner, powered the Maroon and White. Charlotte Avallone netted four goals, and Laura Kleiber added a hat trick.
Scouting the Bison
Katelyn Miller has been the key to both the Bison offense and defense. Offensively, she paces the team with 26 points on a team-leading 19 goals and seven assists. Defensively, she has forced 29 turnovers and corralled 29 ground balls, both are team-highs. Emily Kookogey’s 20 points (15 goals, five assists) comes on a team-high 60 shots, 39 of which have been on target. Maddy Molinari (11 goals, 7 assists) and Christina Manis (nine goals, nine assists) have contributed 18 points apiece. Elizabeth Duswalt has started all 13 contests in goal, allowing 158 goals (13.79 GAA) and making 83 saves (.344 save percentage) on 308 shots faced.
Lafayette alum Alison Fisher leads the Leopards in her sixth season. She is 31-68 in her career. Randall Goldsborough heads the Bucknell program with a 29-49 record in two stints in Lewisburg.

The Maroon and White hold a 30-5 advantage in the all-time series, including four straight wins.
Rookie of the Week
Freshman Kirsten Wilhelmsen was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week, the League announced on Monday afternoon. Wilhelmsen scored seven goals in two games last week. The rookie tallied six goals including the game-winner in overtime at American on April 5.
Leopards on the Attack
Seniors Laura Kleiber and Ana White lead the way with 42 and 39 points, respectively. Kleiber’s 35 goals has been the driving force on the scoreboard, while White has dished out 10 helpers to complement her 29 goals.
White’s contributions don’t stop in the offensive zone. She leads the team with 34 caused turnovers while collecting 30 ground balls. Kleiber and fellow senior captain Rachel Martin have pitched in 15 caused turnovers each, along with 18 and 21 ground balls collectively.
Between the Pipes
Meghan Curtin has played every minute in goal for Ali Fisher allowing 147 goals and making 82 saves.
Around the Patriot League
No. 14 Loyola (5-0 PL) is the only team to secure a spot in the conference tournament. Boston University and Navy each sit at 4-1, while Lehigh’s 3-2 mark is the last of teams over .500. Holy Cross sits at .500 with a 3-3 record. Colgate holds a 2-3 mark, followed by Bucknell’s 2-4 League campaign. Lafayette’s 1-5 record sits just above American, who has yet to win a League game.
