Game Preview
Lafayette and American both enter Saturday’s contest 4-9 overall on the year and both squads are in search of their first Patriot League win of the season. The game can be seen live on the Patriot League Network.

Last Time Out
The Leopards were ousted by Villanova, 8-6, on Wednesday night. Melissa Galione netted a hat trick for the Maroon & White and Laura Klieber scored her 100th career goal for Lafayette. Amanda Case and Kirsten Wilhelmsen each tallied a goal for the Leopards. Meghan Curtin stopped eight shots while Ana White picked up three groundballs and caused three turnovers in the loss.

Scouting the Eagles
Jessica Wojciechowski anchors the Eagles’ attack, notching 21 goals to go with four assists so far this season. Alex Lugovina has found the back of the net 20 times this year and Olivia Reeve has dished out a team-high 12 assists to go with 19 tallies. Reeve also tops the squad in groundballs (18) and caused turnovers (16). Freshman goalkeeper Jacki Ferri has started seven games between the pipes and has made 44 saves and carries a 10.52 goals-against-average.

Coaching Matchup
Leopards alum Alison Fisher is in her sixth season in charge of the program, She has a 30-68 record. Emma Wallace is in the middle of her second season at the helm of the Eagles. She is 12-19 during her time on the American sidelines.

All-Time Series
The Eagles lead the all-time series over Lafayette 9-4. American defeated the Leopards 15-11 a season ago.

Leopards on the Attack
Laura Kleiber and Ana White power the Lafayette attack. Kleiber has tallied 32 goals on the season and has six helpers. White has registered 28 goals to go along with nine assists. Kirsten Wilhelmsen (19), Amanda Case (16), and Charlotte Avallone (15) are the only other members of the Maroon & White who have recorded double-digit goals.

Defensive Stand
White has contributed on the defensive end grabbing 28 groundballs, causing 31 turnovers and collecting 67 draw controls. Meghan Curtin is second on the team with 20 grounds balls. Tri-captains Rachel Martin and Kleiber have both been aggressive defensively forcing 14 turnovers apiece. Martin is tied for third on Lafayette with Charlotte Rath, scooping up 19 groundballs.

Between the Pipes
Curtin has played all 786 minutes in net for the Maroon and White. She holds a 10.23 goals against average and has made 80 saves on the season.

Youth Movement
Kirsten Wilhelmsen and Amanda Case have been key contributors early in their college careers, as they have each started all 13 games. Wilhelmsen has racked up 22 points on 19 goals and three helpers. Case has pocketed 16 goals to help the Leopard cause. Charlotte Rath jumped right into the starting line up on defense forcing a dozen turnovers in addition to her 19 groundballs.

Around the League
Patriot League newcomers Loyola and Boston University sit atop the standings with unblemished 4-0 league marks. Navy sits a half-game back with at 4-1.  Holy Cross rounds out the teams with league records over .500 at 3-2. Colgate and Lehigh have played to 2-2 records, Bucknell has one league win at 1-4, while American and Lafayette are still searching for their first win in League play.

Lafayette return home to close out the season with three straight games at Fisher Stadium. On Wednesday, the Leopards host Bucknell in a Patriot league contest.
