Game Preview
Lafayette looks to move over .500 Wednesday evening when they entertain the Bulldogs of Bryant University. The 3-3 Leopards are coming off an 11-5 loss at Navy, while the Bulldogs (4-2) are coming off a 13-12 overtime win over Lehigh, their third overtime win of the season. Opening draw is set for 5 p.m.

Scouting the Bulldogs
Bryant comes in averaging just over 10 goals per game, with 61 total. As a team, they have converted 11 of 28 free position shots. Lauren Descalzo leads the team in goals with 14, with Lisa Vendel is right behind her with 13. Haley Bloom leads the way in points with 18 on eight goals and a team-high 10 assists. On the defensive side, Vendel has a team-best 11 groundballs, while Kimberley Sniffen is tied with goalkeeper Brianna Watt with 10. Sniffen leads the Bulldogs with eight caused turnovers. Watt has started all six contests between the pipes allowing 65 goals and making 46 saves.

At the Helm
Lafayette alum Alison Fisher is in her sixth season as head coach of the Leopards. She has a career 29-62 record. Bryant is coached by Jill Batcheller in her second season. She led the Bulldogs to a 10-8 record last year.

Leopards on the Attack
Seniors Laura Kleiber and Ana White head the Leopard charge with 17 points apiece. Klieber leads the team with 15 goals, while White has a team-high five assists and 23 draw controls. Sophomore Charlotte Avallone has contributed eight points seven goals and one assist.

Defensive Stand
White leads the team in both ground balls (15) and caused turnovers (16), while Meghan Curtin has scooped up 11 ground balls while causing seven turnovers.

Between the Pipes
Curtin has played every minute in goal for the Maroon and White. She has holds an 8.33 goals-against average and has made 37 saves this season.

Youth Movement
Charlotte Rath and Maggie Carver have started all six Leopard contests on defense. Rath has corralled 10 ground balls while forcing eight turnovers; Carver has seven ground balls and five caused turnovers. Offensively, Kirsten Wilhelmsen sits third on the team with nine points on eight goals with an assist. Amanda Case, the Patriot League Rookie of the Week Feb. 25, has buried seven goals this season, while Alexis Thompson has made five starts for the Maroon and White.

Around the League
Navy, Lehigh Holy Cross, and Boston University are the only teams with Patriot League wins while Lafayette, American, Colgate, and Bucknell have dropped their lone League contest. Loyola has yet to play a Patriot League game. Navy is the only squad with an overall record above .500 at 7-0. Lehigh and Lafayette each sit at 3-3 overall. Holy Cross holds a 3-4 mark, while Loyola sits two games below .500 at 2-4. American (2-5) and Boston U (1-4) are each three games under .500. Colgate holds a 1-5 record while Bucknell is still searching for their first win of the year.
