Women's Lacrosse Conference Opener Postponed 24 Hours

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's lacrosse team's Patriot League opener against archrival Lehigh has been postponed 24 hours due to forecasted thunderstorms. The game will now be played on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex in Bethlehem, Pa.
The Mountain Hawks are 3-1 entering Sunday's matchup. Freshman Lauren Dykstra leads Lehigh with 11 goals and four assists. Sophomore Inneke Carmola and junior Sara MacIntyre have each recorded 10 goals through four games.
The Leopards (0-3) are coming off a 17-13 loss to Manhattan on Wednesday, where they scored six unanswered goals in the final eight minutes of play. Senior Maddy Booth leads the team with seven goals and eight assists. She scored her 100th assist on Wednesday to become the Patriot League all-time leader in career assists. Junior Kristin Ruminski trails Booth with six goals on the season. Ruminski also leads the team with 10 draw controls and three caused turnovers.
