EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette women’s lacrosse senior Meghan Curtin has been named Patriot League Defensive Player, the League announced Tuesday afternoon. Curtin went 2-0 in the Leopards’ games last week.
Curtin was stellar in front of the goal for the Leopards in a pair of 12-6 wins last week. The Lafayette Hill, Pa. native made 14 saves in the two games, including nine in the win over Monmouth on Feb. 26. Curtin currently ranks in the top three in the Patriot League in save percentage and goals against average.
Lafayette is back in action on Saturday afternoon at No. 20/13 Navy in the squads’ first Patriot League game. Opening draw is set for noon.
