Lafayette freshman picks up her first weekly award

EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette women’s lacrosse freshman Amanda Case was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week, the League announced Tuesday afternoon. Case scored six goals for the Leopards in three games last week.
Case drew a start in her first collegiate game and made the most of it, scoring her first-career goal at Marist. The rookie scored the opening goal of the game on a free position shot at Delaware, while also picking up a pair of groundballs. The Havertown, Pa. native tallied four goals in the Leopards 16-6 win over Wagner.
Lafayette is back in action Wednesday afternoon at Monmouth. Opening draw set for 3 p.m.
