Women's Lax Features 16 in Class of 2021

EASTON, Pa. -- Head coach Alison Fisher of the Lafayette women's lacrosse team introduced the additions of 16 student-athletes to the program as part of the Class of 2021 on Monday afternoon.

The rookies come to College Hill from seven different states, including three from New Jersey and Connecticut, three from New York, two from Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, and one each from Maryland and Illinois. The class is made up of eight midfielders, four attackers, three defenders and a goalie.

"This freshmen class is very talented and have given us great depth," Fisher said. "We're excited that several of them have potential for immediate contributions this spring."

Camille Moore (5-4 | Defense | Oak Park, Ill. | Oak Park River Forest): Played four years of lacrosse and started two defensively...also participated in gymnastics, competing in the all-around portion...earned honor roll status all four years and was a member of West Suburban PADS and Girl Scouts...played on the club circuit with Freedom Lacrosse in St. Charles, Ill.

Lizzie O'Brien (5-7 | Attack | Jamesville, N.Y. | Jamesville DeWitt): Started for three years at attack, winning a league championship and a sectional championship in 2017...selected as a team captain in 2016 and 2017...earned All-Central New York honors in 2016 and 2017 ad was a First-Team All-League selection in 2015, 2016 and 2017...ran two years of cross country and one year of indoor track...member of the National Honor Society, the Math Honor Society, the French Honor Society and was a high honor roll student all four years...helped out with the Make a Wish Club and volunteered at Helping Hounds...played on the club circuit with Relentless Hustle Lacrosse Club and CNY Lacrosse Club...also played for two years on the Upstate National Team and one year on the Under Armour Upstate Team.

Mia Magarro (5-9 | Midfield/Defense | Tappan, N.J. | Immaculate Heart Academy): Played three years of lacrosse, starting her final two at midfield and defense...scored 29 goals and added 14 assists for 43 points in her career...was a Second-Team All-County and a Second-Team Stars & Stripes All-League selection...picked for the North Jersey All-Star Game...spent four years on the honor roll...played on the club circuit with Metro Magic Lacrosse.

Caitie Clark (5-7 | Defense | Rumson, N.J. | Rumson Fair Haven Regional): Was a three-year performer in soccer and lacrosse, winning a state championship in soccer in 2013...won four Shore Conference championships and three State Sectional championships in lacrosse...was a three-time First-Team All-Group selection...in 2015, earned Second-Team All-Conference and Second-Team All-State honors, was selected to the Under Armour Uncommitted Team and was a member of the Nike Elite 120...in 2016, was named Second-Team All-State and selected for the Under Armour Uncommitted Team...in 2017, was First-Team All-Conference and Third-Team All-State.

Brianna McCoy (5-10 | Midfield | Kennett Square, Pa. | Tower Hill): Played four years of lacrosse and basketball and two years of field hockey, earning state runner-up titles in lacrosse and field hockey...served as team captain in lacrosse her senior year, earning First-Team All-Independent Conference and Second-Team All-State honors...was a First-Team All-Conference honoree her junior year and a Second-Team All-Conference honoree as a sophomore...was a three-time all-conference selection in basketball, earning second-team honors her sophomore and junior years and first-team laurels her senior year...was a team captain her senior season and was selected to play in the Blue-Gold All-Star Game...off the field and court, was part of the Tower Hill Recognition of Scholars and was a Tower Hill Scholar with Honors...served as the Chairman of the Tower Hill Athletic Committee...attended the DIAA Leadership Conference...wrote and published a cook book with all proceeds (over $40,000) benefitting the Delaware Foundation for Reaching Citizens with Intellectual Disabilities...volunteered with Special Olympics and worked at the Food Bank of Delaware.

Jacklyn Fein (5-7 | Defense | Concord, Mass. | Easton (Pa.)): Played both lacrosse and basketball for four years, starting the last two years at defense on the lacrosse field...on a district and league runner-up and state-qualifying team in 2017...was a PIAA District and EPC champion in basketball...served as a team captain in 2017, earning All-EPC First-Team, Lehigh Valley All-Area First-Team and Morning Call All-Area First-Team honors...named the 2017 Scholar-Athlete for girls lacrosse...member of the National Honor Society all four years and a four-year member of Project Lead the Way...co-founder and president of the STEM for Kids Club in Easton...winner of the FCA Student Leadership Award and the Sons of the American Revolution Citizenship Award in 2017...played on the club circuit for T3 Elite.

Quinn Lacy (5-6 | Goalie | Glen Head, N.Y. | North Shore): Played four years of lacrosse and field hockey, starting two years in goal for lacrosse...was an All-Country honoree in 2016 and 2017...member of the Long Island Top 100 and a North Shore Spotlight Athlete in 2017...served as team captain in her senior season...two-time All-Conference honoree and an All-County selection in field hockey...named an Academic All-American in 2017...earned high honor roll all four years and participated in the Foreign Language, Science and Rho Kappa Kappa National Honor Societies as a top-20 member of her class...won the Adriane Zisk award for community service, academics and athletics...served as president of the National Honors Society, while also participating in Peer Leaders and Athletes Helping Athletes...played on the club circuit for Long Island Liberty Lacrosse...was a member of the Brine National Team in 2015 and 2016 and played for Team Nassau in the Long Island Nassau vs. Suffolk Game in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Josie Brodfuehrer (5-7 | Midfield | Lexington Park, Md. | Leonardtown): Was a five-sport athlete, combining four years of lacrosse with three years of indoor track, two years of cross country and a year each of volleyball and golf...won the SMAC championship in lacrosse all four years...served as a three-year captain, named First-Team All-County, First-Team All-Conference, an Academic All-American and the Academic Athlete of the Year...spent four years on the honor roll, graduating in the top five percent of her class...earned a JHUAPL scholarship...participated in the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society, while also being involved in Student Council, Student to Student, Global International Studies, Model United Nations and Raider Relief...played her club lacrosse with Jets Travel in Leonardtown, Md.

Anna Stein (5-9 | Attack | Darien, Conn. | Darien): Played four years of lacrosse, starting her final two years on attack...scored 32 goals and added 43 assists for 75 points in her senior season...her team finished the 2017 ranked #10 in the Nike/US Lacrosse High School rankings...won a state championship and an FCIAC championship all four years, going undefeated throughout her career in the state of Connecticut...named a US Lacrosse All-American and a First-Team All-FCIAC honoree...won the Principal's Award for Citizenship and Academic Achievement...played club lacrosse for the CT Grizzlies.

Audrey Hannigan (5-9 | Midfield | Summit, N.J. | Summit): Was a four-sport athlete, combining four years of lacrosse with three years of cross country, two years on winter track and a year of field hockey...won consecutive county championships in lacrosse in 2015 and 2016...was the varsity MVP of her cross country team in 2015...earned Sum Cum Laude honors all four years...Played club for STEPS Lacrosse...made the Brine National All-American team in 2014.

Grace Guerin (5-10 | Midfield | Sewickley, Pa. | Sewickley Academy): Sister of current Lafayette attacker Kayla Guerin...started all four years in lacrosse, while also playing three years of soccer and two years of basketball...was an All-Section honoree and a member of the All-Section All-Star Team in lacrosse...earned the highest honor roll and was a scholar-athlete...volunteered over 60 hours of community service and was the Girl-up president...played on the club circuit for Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club.

Courtney Scheetz (5-5 | Attack | Fairfield, Conn. | Fairfield Warde): Played four years of lacrosse, soccer and ice hockey...scored 126 career goals in lacrosse with 53 in her senior season...won 48 games over her four-year career...was a three-time All-FCIAC honoree, earning All-State honors her junior and senior seasons...served as team captain her senior year...selected to the CT Post Hearst All-Star team and as an Academic All-American and CT Academic All-State in 2017...was the FCIAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year her senior year...spent two summers working on the Appalachia Service Project...was the president of her class...served as Head of Communications for the Humanity Helps Humanity club.

Colleen Bannon (5-5 | Attack | Westport, Conn. | Staples): Played four years of lacrosse, scoring 147 goals and adding 86 assists for 233 career points, all school records...named the Offensive Player of the Year three times and served as a team captain her junior and senior seasons...two-time MVP, earning First-Team All-FCIAC honors in 2017...was an All-FCIAC Second-Team honoree in 2014 and 2016 and an honorable mention in 2015...named First-Team All-State in 2016 and 2017...was named the scholar-athlete for field hockey and lacrosse...earned the Westport PAL athletic scholarship...earned first honors all four years and was a member of the Social Studies, Italian and National Honor Societies...worked as a youth referee for field hockey and lacrosse...coached fifth and sixth grade youth lacrosse...played on the club circuit for the CT Grizzlies in Darien, Conn.

Annie Hage (5-4 | Midfield | Ridgefield, Conn. | Ridgefield): Played five different sports, settling on lacrosse, starting for three years...on an FCIAC runner-up team in 2017...was the team's Defensive MVP in 2015 and 2017, earning Second-Team All FCIAC and First-Team All-State laurels...led her team in caused turnovers and ground balls all three years...earned honor roll and high honor roll status throughout her academic career...served as the Vice President and then President of the Ridgefield Community Volunteers...taught Religious Special Education at St. Mary's in Ridgefield...was the Chief Coordinator and Liaison of the Angel Network Charity...worked with Safe Rides CT...player club lacrosse with Westchester Elite in Westchester, N.Y.
