After a goal from Binghamton to open the scoring in the second half, Lafayette came roaring back to take control of the game. The run starting with Avallone's second tally of the afternoon at the 25:06 mark, followed three minutes later by Amanda Case's free position goal to tie the game. Kleiber found White in front of the cage less than a minute later to give the Leopards a 6-5 advantage.

Kleiber completed her hat trick with back-to-back goals at 18:16 and 12:02 in the second half. Avallone netted her third and fourth in succession to push the Leopards run to seven in a row with under seven minutes to play. Kleiber scored her fourth, making it 11-5 with 4:37 on the clock. White rounded out the Leopards 9-0 spurt with three minutes to play. Binghamton's Liz Hoeffner converted a free position shot with 1:24 to play as the Leopards went on to win 12-6.
