Kathy Frick continues to build the Lafayette women's lacrosse program as she enters her fourth year as head coach. The seventh head coach in Lafayette women's lacrosse history, Frick has a career record of 108-97 (.526) which includes nine wins with the Leopards.

During her time on College Hill, Frick has coached six players who have been named to All-Patriot League teams, including junior Kristin Ruminski who was the Patriot League Co-Rookie of the Year in 2006. She has had eight Patriot League Players of the Week, four of whom were freshmen. Frick has pushed her team to do well in the classroom as well as on the field and 10 of her players were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2007 and 29 have made the roster during her three-year tenure.

Before taking over the Lafayette program in July of 2004, Frick spent the previous six seasons at Division II Bloomsburg University where she compiled a 69-38 record as head coach. She led the Huskies to conference titles in 2000 and 2003 and second place finishes in 1999, 2002 and 2004. She was honored as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 2000 after the Huskies finished the year as the top-ranked school in the division. Frick also served as an assistant field hockey coach at Bloomsburg and was part of four Division II National Championship teams.

Prior to taking the reigns at Bloomsburg, Frick acted as the head coach of the women's lacrosse program at Division III Goucher College in Baltimore, Md. She led the Lady Gophers to the Division III Semifinals for the first time in school history in 1996 and also collected Capitol Athletic Conference Coach of the Year honors. She was also the head field hockey coach at Goucher and guided her team to the Division III Regionals in 1995.

Frick began her coaching career as an assistant coach in lacrosse and field hockey at Roanoke College in Salem, Va. from 1991-1992. She moved to a similar position at Colgate University from 1992-1994 before accepting her first head coaching position at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell in 1994.

A 1990 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting, Frick was an All-American in lacrosse and two-time All-American in field hockey.
